These terms apply to this website and to booking an appointment with The Wellness Spot AK, operated by The Whitney Group LLC in Palmer, Alaska. Using the site or booking a visit means you accept them.

What this practice is, and is not

The Wellness Spot AK offers one-on-one wellness sessions working with structure, homeopathy, acupressure, and emotion.

This is not medical care and it does not replace it. Nothing offered here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease, and no outcome is promised. Keep taking your medications. Keep your appointments with your doctor. Do not cancel a procedure without talking to your physician first.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Booking and payment

  • Appointments are booked through the scheduling system on this site.
  • Payment is due at the time of care. Cash or card. There is no delayed billing.
  • Insurance is not billed and no insurance claims are submitted on your behalf.
  • A payment card may be required to hold your appointment. It is stored by Square and is not charged unless the cancellation terms below apply.

Cancellations and missed appointments

  • Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours ahead and there is no charge, for any reason.
  • Cancelling inside 24 hours is $50.
  • A missed appointment with no notice is $125, and future booking may be declined.
  • If you are unwell, come anyway. Feeling sick is usually a reason to keep the appointment, not cancel it. Call if you are unsure.

Text messaging terms

By giving your mobile number you agree to receive text messages about your appointments from The Wellness Spot AK.

  • Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving care.
  • Message frequency varies and is tied to your appointments.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (888) 907-5517.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • See the Privacy Policy for how your number is handled.

Handouts and other material offered here are general education. They are not personal advice and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed provider.

To the fullest extent allowed by Alaska law, The Whitney Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this website or the information on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The Wellness Spot logo is a trademark of The Wellness Spot LLC. and is used with permission. SHAPE is referenced only as the name of the method Clint Whitney trained in, and is not a brand of this practice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Alaska.
